Social media allows you to post at any time from anywhere. You will post what you are thinking at that point of time. You will not think how your point of view will change based on what happens based on the given circumstances. However some of the posts come and may be used against us. You have to be mindful in how you post and hope it doesn’t get used against you in any way.

We post pictures, our thoughts without thinking how it could be used later. We are seeing this more now and it is used negatively. Even old photos are coming up to hurt people that are trying to do good things for others. Yes, we have to understand that a lot changes with us as humans and people need to respect that. People put too much negative attention on the past.

We have to remember people are changing and evolving with what is around them. These changes that happen around us, help change our lives and impact our point of view. We learn a lot of what we believe in from how we were brought up. Sometimes I look at my son and wonder how he quickly picks up on our feelings and he is not even two yet. We pick up so many opinions and thoughts from when we are growing up.

Growing up, I moved around and it was always tough on adjusting to a new area, making new friends, and settling in. However these moves made me understand a lot about myself, I have a lot of stories to share and experiences to share. These experiences have helped mold me and allow me to be who I am today. I still am told I am the computer guy from all my friends, family, and teachers.

I look back at some of the things I have posted online and how social media has evolved. I remember the first website I created, I had pictures of friends, family, etc. My parents first reaction was your website is permanent and people will be able to see it forever. In hindsight they were right, you can retrieve archives of websites or people can save pictures. I did not really think anything of it, but took the pictures down.

These days, I keep myself very quiet on social media because I want to focus on my family, friends, and co-workers. I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.
