The Anticipation of New Technology

Growing up I remember waiting in line at Wal-Mart during the night to get a Sega Saturn. I was so excited it was a school night, but I was going to be the first person to have the system in my friend circle. This is the only time I have waited for something like this.

I have seen the lines for people waiting for the latest and greatest iPhone. A few days ago, I saw my friends posting pictures of the new Xbox.

It is amazing what we wait for because the technology has changed in a year. Personally for my technology needs, I have had the same phone for the last three and half years, TV for five years, and just updated to the latest iPad this week.

Now all they are a lot of new features on these devices that I want to take advantage of. It is just now you have to pay such a premium price to get them and make sure it’s worth it. I spend time with researching, reading blogs/articles and talking to people with the device. I want to make an educated decision before buying anything.
